The future of our world depends on the great realization of love: that which unites us is infinitely greater then that which divides us. The spiritual teaching for this age must be drawn from all of the great traditions of Spirit, pre-modern, modern, and post-modern. These great understandings must be lovingly integrated into a space of open heart, community and insight that has the power and the compassion to guide us on the next stage of our personal and global journey.

The lineages are the great teachings of Spirit developed by the great communities and masters of all the ages, in all parts of the world. Trans-lineage means that we are moving towards transcending and including the Great Heart, Mind, and Body truths of all these lineages into an evolutionary integral Spiritual teaching. This is a down to earth, elegant, gorgeous teaching which embraces all facets of your Unique Life.

Until very recently, you, like many other people received the lineage transmission of the spiritual system that was dominant in your place of birth. You may have received it consciously. More likely, like most people in modernity, you received it unconsciously.

By lineage transmission we mean the absorption into your being of the great ideas, insights, maps, heart and mind knowings of a great tradition of Spirit, by whose lights you could orient and guide your life.

Usually the spiritual transmission that you received was confused and diluted at best. You did not know quite how to integrate the apparently contradictory insights of modernity and post- modernity with what you understood to be the great truths of the wisdom traditions.

Marc Gafni Bio

Dr. Marc Gafni is a cutting edge evolutionary visionary, a gentle and provocative spiritual artist and teacher, academic, public intellectual, author, and social activist and lover of people. He holds a doctorate, written on Nondual Humanism in Kabbalah taken at Oxford University under the co-supervision of Prof. Moshe Idel. He serves as the founding director of the Center for World Spirituality and as Teacher in Residence at the Shalom Mountain Wisdom School and Venwoude retreat center.

Dr. Marc Gafni is the author of five published books with four more forthcoming, including the National Best Seller Soul Prints and Mystery of Love. Soul Prints won the Napra Award for the best Spirituality Book of 2001. It was a main selection for the One Spirit Book Club, the basis of a National PBS special, the Amazon.com best book of 2001 in the Jewish Thought category and starred review in Publishers Weekly. Soul Prints was also made into an audio series by Sound True Recordings. Soul Prints is published by Simon and Schuster.

Marc Gafni’s second major English language book, also published by Simon and Schuster, The Mystery of Love talks of the profound relationship between the Erotic and the Holy. Mystery of Love met with much critical acclaim and was an audio lecture series called The Erotic and the Holy published by Sounds True.

Dr. Marc’s other books in Hebrew include Reclaiming Uncertainty as a Spiritual Value, Re-defining Certainty from “It is True” to “I am True”; he is a co-author of Lillith: Re-Reading Feminine Shadow.
All of these audio series are now being updated and re-released under the Center for World Spirituality.

Marc has two major academic volumes forthcoming entitled, Nondual Humanism and the Unique Self: The Dialectical Theology of Mordechai Lainer of Izbica, as well as The Dance of Tears: A Integral Re-Reading of Hebrew Ritual.

His major upcoming work to be released in Nov. 2012 is Your Unique Self, The Future of Enlightenment about which Michael Murphy and many others wrote, “This book changes the game”.
At the same time Marc is preparing a series of new books on sexuality, gender and the evolutionary masculine and feminine tentatively entitled, Sex Ethics and Injury, Wounds of Love, Spiritually Incorrect, Love Incorrect, and Sexually Incorrect.

These books hope to make a source code contribution to the evolution of consciousness in matters of sexuality, teacher student relationship, evolutionary gender roles from the perspective of second tier Integral Ethics.
Marc Gafni has created and run leading edge spiritual contexts from seminars, to teachings, to communities his entire life. His last spiritual experiment was his co-leadership in the fostering of a Jewish Renewal movement in Israel.

One of the projects of Center for World Spirituality is the producing a Great Library of Books on the human spirit with real implications for creating a better world for all of our children and grandchildren. The books, coordinated with public sharing and teachings, as well as television and movie projects, will be rooted in the principles of Evolutionary Kabala in particular and Evolutionary Spirituality in general. The books will be universal in scope and audience even as they emerge from the matrix of the sacred texts which in-formed Marc’s evolution as well as his sacred autobiography. Marc has also, like many teachers and public figures, been the subject of false attacks on Internet hate sites, and in some of the other distorted forums of the blogsphere. He is currently writing a books on the complex and often tragic role of the Internet, as it interfaces with masculine and feminine shadow in the public square. At the same time, Marc, like every authentic teacher, has sought to evolve through his mistakes and to transform suffering into love.
